An Update for this Blog

Shifting gears.

Hello,

As you know, I’ve been posting on Indonesian and American every two week. I enjoyed writing what I wrote and did not regret my postings, but it has served its purpose. If you’ve been following my activities elsewhere on Substack, you might know that I’m working on other projects. And personally, I’ve been struggling to find ideas to keep this particular newsletter a biweekly thing.

Henceforth, I will be shifting gears for this Substack. First, I aim to post every month, at the least. I say at the least because I don’t want to be too rigid with my posting. This means that while there will be a minimum of one post every month, readers can expect extra posts. And of course, I will be still be posting them on Tuesdays because why not.

For now, I’ll just post some Indonesia-themed images I generated with Midjourney:

I like this one because it looks like some Indonesian countryside but some reason the mountains look like the Borobudur.

I just put in ‘Indonesia’ for the prompt here. But it reminds me of Bali more than anything. In fact, a lot of the pictures do.

I’m trying to get ‘Gajah Mada’ in anime. And I think the AI was a little confused. I like the results though.

Jakarta in the future?
